LOCATION: NJ State Capital on 125 West State Street, Trenton, NJ
Well, you have all heard or seen me use the phrase NOW IS THE TIME!!! - probably more times than you can count by now. We live in those times. That can be good or bad depending on what we as a concerned group of individuals do now. We are facing the worst attack on firearms ownership rights we have ever seen, here in New Jersey, in other states across the country and at the federal level.
We have been involved in talks with the NJ Senate that are still ongoing. It would be encouraging to those of us who live in one of the most highly regulated states in the nation, if our Senate voted not to pass any further gun control legislation. Perhaps that is a possibility. We are certainly doing everything we can do working in conjunction with groups such as the ANJRPC and the NJOA to stop these bills.
However, even if we are successful is stopping the progression of the myriad of bills foist upon us by the NJ Assembly in the past few months, there is still the matter of all the federal legislation being proposed by our so-called "representatives". Apparently, as Piers Morgan believes, the "guidelines" contained in "that little book" we revere as our Constitution are of no consequence to them.
Gun owners of New Jersey, those who believe in the Constitution and everyone who maintains a respect for individual Liberty and Responsibility. NOW IS THE TIME TO UNITE!!!
We need to bring over 20.000 people into Trenton on Saturday May 11, 2013 to show our unswerving support for our rights as protected under the Second Amendment. The NJ2AS will organize this event, schedule the buses and provide the speakers. I need you all to let me know ASAP if you will be there at our side. At *MY* side. PLEASE NOTE The cost for the bus will be $20 per person. BUS REGISTRATION WILL BE POSTED SOON! The list posted with this event is for informational purposes only.
At this point I am not asking you to pre register for a particular bus. We need to be able to predict as accurately as possible approximately how many buses we will need. We should be able to make last minute adjustments, but I will need to get a fairly accurate idea of how many people from each county will be coming by car, and how many will take advantage of a $20.00 bus ride into Trenton. I realize that this will depend in some part on where our buses will leave from, but please answer assuming that it will be from a convenient location.
Please do not wait to register. Do it now. Remember, the target is at least 20,000 people. We should get many more than that. I will put up the actual registration for the buses as soon as humanly possible
*All rallies are from 10:00am until noon.
*Please bring signs with large block letters.
